RUN FOR SIGHT

Rules and Regulations

 

• ELIGIBILITY

  5km Blindfold Run /walk.

  Run is open to all Malaysian and foreigner of 16 years and above (Taken as at 31st December 2015).

  The Run must be raced in team of 2 runners only. One of the team members must be blindfolded throughout the Run with the other team member leading the blindfolded runner.

 

• PRIZE – PER TEAM

      1st to 5th Prize (Subject to sponsors' contribution)

 

 

• AGE VERIFICATION

      The age of all participants will be verified.

      Please produce your identity card or other valid documents for verification purposes.

      Students will need to produce relevant documents during race kit collection. 
 

• RUNNER ENTITLEMENT

  Running Bib Numbers

  Certificate of Participation (after completing the race)

  Goodies Bag (after completing the race) (Subject to sponsors' contribution)
   

• RUNNING BIB NUMBER

  All team members must wear the assigned bib number on his/her chest.

  Failing to do so will lead to disqualification.
   

• RACE KIT COLLECTION

• ONLINE REGISTRATION

  Please register online at http://www.myraceonline.com/.

  NO manual registration.

  No refund will be made for wrongful or multiple registration.

  The decision of Competition Committee is final when accepting entries. 
  The organizer has the rights to refuse an entry without having to disclose a reason.
   

• REGISTRATION FEES

  No entry fee refund for participants who do not eventually take part in the event for whatever reasons.

  Strictly not allowed to transfer their race entries to another party

  Registration fees will be contributed to Malaysia Glaucoma Society and Save Ones Sight Missions Bhd., a non-profit organization

  
   

• REGISTRATION CLOSING DATE

     21st February 2016 or 500 teams whichever is earlier.

 

• IN EVENT OF A CATASTROPHIC OR NATURAL DISASTER resulting in a postponement of the above event the organizer shall not be held responsible for any claims and whatsoever in any form made by any individual or parties concerned.

 

• END OF COMPETITION

  The race will be officially over 2 hours from start time.

  The organizer reserves the right to use any photograph (including those of  participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of  the event taken before, during and after the event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to sponsors.

  Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the organizer to ensure the participants safety, participants run at their own risk and the organizer will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death 
  howsoever arising from training for or during participation in the race. Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and/or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual race day.
